Lifestyle modification

Sexual function is influenced by your overall wellbeing. Erection problems can be a sign that you are not giving enough attention to a healthy lifestyle. It can also be the first symptom of more serious conditions such as diabetes, heart disease and prostate cancer. Below are some things you could do that can be a great erection help, and at the same time lower your risk of many other serious conditions.

Stop smoking. Smoking hardens the arteries, including those that supply blood to the penis. This can limit the flow of blood and cause your failures in bed. Stop smoking if you want your erections back.

Increase the amount you exercise. Exercise improves blood circulation, builds strength and stamina, lifts mood and relieves stress. This will benefit your sex life, as well as your overall health and wellbeing.

Improve your diet. Food is your body’s fuel. You can’t expect your body to function properly if you don’t supply it with the foods it needs.

Moderate alcohol consumption. Alcohol can cause and worsen erection problems.

Manage stress. Stress and overwork are culprits of many problems. Erection treatments can’t do much if you are constantly exhausted, don’t get enough sleep etc – especially if these issues cause tension in your relationship.

Psychological treatments for erection problems

Psychological problems need to be addressed if they are the predominant cause of erection problems. If not, drugs are unlikely to restore enjoyable and satisfying sexual intimacy to your relationship. You should learn how to manage stress. This can be a perfect erection help list.

Physical treatments

The most known drugs are Viagra, Levitra and Cialis. But they come with numerous side effects. Because the chemical they act on is only produced when you are aroused, the tablets only give an erection in response to sexual stimulation. We will review these side effects later. For example, it is forbidden to take more than one tablet once a day. They may start working in 2 hours after taking – no immediate effects.

Mechanical aids

Vacuum pump. Plastic chamber that is placed over the penis. Air is extracted using a pump, which allows blood to be drawn more effectively into the penis. After the pump is removed for sex, the erection can be maintained with a constriction ring. Erections should not be maintained for more than 30 minutes.

Semi-rigid penile prosthesis. Surgery to insert flexible rods into the shaft of the penis. The rods are firm enough to allow intercourse. The penis can be bent up for penetration and bent down at other times.

Inflatable penile prosthesis. Surgery to place two cylinders inside the penis, with a pump and fluid reservoir in the scrotum. During intercourse, the pump is activated by squeezing a device in the scrotum. This draws fluid from the reservoir into the cylinders, making the penis hard. After sex a valve is pressed to allow the fluid to drain back into the reservoir.

Erection oils

There is a MUCH MORE simple erection help. If you need an instant erection, you should take a look at the topical erection oils. Targeted delivery has been recently identified as an emerging alternative to orally administered products mainly due to the current concerns of the side effects that may occur from taking prescription drugs. You can find these oils in our Erection Help review.

Erection problem help

  • 7:00 pm, Sunday, January 14th, 2007

If you have erection problems, the next question after how to get an erection is how to find erection problems help. Let’s see what options are available. Personally, I feel that in most cases of psychologically-induced ED, the best erection help is trying erection oils.

Oral drugs which induce erection have revolutionised the treatment of ED over the last seven years. They don’t work for everybody, but they do work for the majority – even in diabetes. They can also help people with neurological and spinal problems. Also, the choice of available drugs means that if one particular drug doesn’t suit you, it’s well worth trying one of the others. It is not safe for some people to use these drugs and some medications interact dangerously with them. Therefore, before going on any of these pills you should always see a doctor, talk things over with him, and have a physical check-up. Do not buy erection drugs by mail-order, or from chaps you meet in pubs!

The most known erection drug is Viagra. In most men, works within an hour. Effect lasts for about four hours. Easily blocked by food in the stomach. The most common side-effects are headache, visual disturbances, blocked nose, flushed face, indigestion, palpitations – and dizziness after getting out of bed too quickly! Blue vision occurs at higher doses. Viagra is very dangerous with certain heart drugs. Interacts with many medications. Do not drink grapefruit juice on day of use. Viagra’s counterparts: Cialis and Levitra. There are also known side effects.

It’s also possible to give erection-inducing agents by injections into the penis and pellets inserted down the urinary pipe. These methods have become less popular since the increasing availability of oral drugs, but they suit a minority of men. You have to be quite brave to give yourself a jab in the penis. For details of side-effects, consult your GP.

Mechanical aids. A vacuum pump is a cylinder which you put over your penis. You then pump out the air. That should ‘suck’ your penis into an erection – which, however, tends to be a bit cold and blue-looking.

Surgery. In the 1990s there was great hope that surgery would cure a lot of men who had ED. Unfortunately, it hasn’t worked out like that, and it is fairly rare to see a man whose erection problems have been put right by a surgical operation.

Finally, erection oils. Erection oils are designed to penetrate the deepest layers of the penile tissue and testicles instantaneously, and give noticeable results within 30 – 90 seconds. Because the absorption is direct to the genitals using the transdermal method, 95% of the beneficial ingredients are absorbed, compared to approx 5 to 10% with an herbal capsule or tablet.

Erectile dysfunction is usually treatable these days. The most effective and safe method to get an erection help is using erection oils.
